Daily Lotto
Among several popular lottery games played in South Africa, Daily Lotto is the only daily draw, with Christmas Day the only day when no draw takes place at all.
Daily Lotto draws take place every evening at 21:00 local time. Ticket sales cease at 20:30 local time and resume once the result has been published.
A Daily Lotto ticket costs ZAR 3.00. To play, choose five numbers between 1 and 36, or go for a Quick Pick to play with randomly generated numbers.
Also, players can use the Advance Play option to buy tickets for multiple future draws.
Daily Lotto does not have any secondary draws or cash prizes alongside the main draw.

Daily Lotto does not have a minimum guaranteed jackpot, which is instead determined by the number of tickets sold; however, lottery operator, Ithuba, occasionally holds special draws that have a minimum guaranteed jackpot or a higher overall prize pool.
The Daily Lotto jackpot does not roll over, but does roll down to secondary prize tiers.
