Loto
Loto is Slovenia’s main national lottery game.
Draws take place twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays at 19:00 local time and are broadcast live on national television. Ticket sales close one hour before the draw and resume immediately afterward.
Entry costs €0.60 per line.
To play, choose seven numbers between 1 and 39, or go for a Quick Pick for random selections.
As well as playing Loto the traditional way, players can participate through Combination Play or System Play.
In Combination Play, participants pay extra to effectively enter the same set of numbers multiple times for a chance to win the jackpot plus multiple secondary prizes all in one go. This is a great way to increase potential Loto winnings, but at a vastly inflated ticket price.
In System Entry, players choose up to 13 numbers that are entered into the draw in all possible combinations. This is another great way to enhance the chances of winning, which is also more costly.
Loto Plus is an additional draw with a jackpot of €500,000, at no extra cost!
Lotko is available for €1.50 per entry, with players receiving a random six-digit number for a chance to win the €500,000 jackpot by matching all six numbers in order.
Jackpot
Loto has a guaranteed minimum jackpot of €250,000. The jackpot, capped at €5 million has only been reached once, on July 8, 2015.
Once this cap is reached, funds roll down to the next prize tier.

The odds of winning the Loto jackpot are 1 in 15,380,937, which are long odds for a relatively small jackpot.
Players can win prizes at eight different tiers, with 1 in 91 overall odds of winning something.

Payout and Taxes
Players have up to 67 days to claim Loto prizes.
Prizes are paid out as lump sums only, with winnings over €300 being subject to 15% tax.
Who Can Play Loto?
Players must be at least 18 years of age to buy Loto tickets, which are available from authorized lottery outlets across Slovenia or online via the official Loto website and mobile app.
Entry is not currently available to players from overseas.
